What would happen if someone you loved suddenly went into the hospital, was involved in a car wreck, or experienced a job loss?


The connecting care team exists to meet the needs of those who are experiencing temporary struggles due to medical emergencies, family emergencies, or other life-altering events.


The team is looking for individuals who would be willing to give of themselves in some way to help those who need some assistance during their challenging times.


Volunteers sign up to serve on a schedule and time frame that best suits them. Volunteers also have the option to choose the activities and ways they are willing to help based on their resources, ability, and time constraints.


Anything you can do to help is greatly appreciated.

If you are wishing to sign up, or need more information, we invite you to fill out the short form below.


Once we receive your form you will be contacted by one of our Connect2Care coordinators.


If you just need information they will answer any questions you may have.


If you are ready to sign up they will assist you with the next steps in the process.


PROCESS


  1. Fill out the online registration form with your contact information and note how you would like to serve and how often you would be available.
  2. Receive a phone call from a connect2care coordinator who will ask you some questions, help you to clarify your involvement, and answer any questions you may have.
  3. If you plan to continue you will then need to go through safe sanctuary training, submit a background check, and any other required training or documentation pertaining to your level of care.
  4. You will be contacted to help when a need arises. We will match needs with volunteer interests and time availability.
