Operation Christmas Child

This wonderful outreach blesses children with joy, hope, and love.

In the hands of local churches, every gift-filled shoebox is a powerful tool for evangelism and discipleship—transforming the lives of children and their families around the world through the Good News of Jesus Christ! Their shoebox is the first gift many children have ever received! The treasures and personal letters inside communicate that someone cares for them and give them an opportunity to experience the love of God. Here at Lake Houston UMC, our Children's Ministry collects and assembles these special shoeboxes each year. Contact Christen Thibodeaux for donations and helping.

NOTE: Free shoe boxes are available on the table in the hallway of the office building for those wishing to fill a box for Operation Christmas Child. The deadline for dropping off your filled shoeboxes is November 17th. Contact Christen Thibodeaux if you have questions.
